The Brink (2015)

The HBO Original Series The Brink comes to us from Jay Roach, who has been delving into political satire on the network with his original films Recount (2008) and Game Change (2012). The show's premise is to follow a different comedic foreign crisis in a different country each season, and the first season centers around Pakistan. Secretary of State Walter Larson (Tim Robbins) is sent to Pakistan to diffuse a possible crisis and must work closely with Alex Talbot (Jack Black), a low-ranking government official who has just been assigned to work at the American Embassy in Islamabad. Are these men really the only thing standing between us and total nuclear annihilation? Yeah, it looks like they might be. The series' pilot episode kicked things off on a high note, at least as far as nudity is concerned! The skinsational Mara Lane bared her boobs and butt while banging Tim Robbins in a kinky sex scene! We hope this is a harbinger of things to come... Well maybe not a harbinger, but more like a pleasant sign of things to come.
