Süskind (2012)

A Jewish industrialist helps children escape Nazis in the Dutch tearjerker Süskind (2012). German born Walter Sueskind (Jeroen Spitzenberger) fled to the Netherlands to escape anti-Semitism, but by 1942 the SS have reached Amsterdam. At first Sueskind sees an opportunity to profit by helping organize the deportation of his fellow countrymen, but when the word of what is really happening in Germany reaches him, he starts helping young children escape their fate by smuggling them into safety. If a film about WWII doesn’t seem like a sexy time at the movies, just wait until Chava Voor in 't Holt drops the dress off her impressive pair while playing a prostitute. Mazel tov!
