Susana Kamini had the typical career for a schlock actress working out of Mexico, churning out drive-in fare like Mary, Mary, Bloody Mary (1976) and Dr. Tarr’s Torture Dungeon (1977). Everything changed, however, when she took a lead role in the horror epic Alucarda (1978). As the orphan Justine, Susana skips with her sexy pal Alucarda straight down the path of Satan. Satanism is pretty wild, too, as the gals begin to terrorize and tempt the local nuns and priests. It all leads to nuns with whips, lesbian antics, crucifixion and some bloody suckling. Susana’s career survived the scandalous film, and she even managed a regular role on the 1983 TV series La Pasión de Isabela (1983)--but, probably still exhausted from Alucarda, Susana finally retired from the screen in 1989.
