Some call them B-movies, but Mr. Skin says they're the life's blood of sinema. And one of the red-hot mamas who circulates through this steamy vein of filmdom is Susan Almgren. She made her big-screen debut in Separate Vacations (1986), which offered her first, albeit from afar, nude view. She then took on roles in films such as the skinful Shades of Love: Lilac Dream (1987), Champagne Charlie (1989), and Malarek (1989). Another reason to relish the B-movie genre is that, rather than Grade-B, the B often stands for boobs. And Susan likes to show off her towering twins, as in the erotic thriller Deadly Surveillance (1991). To add that little extra, she did a little romp in the shower with Christopher Bondy. Susan looked as if she were moving up to mainstream arthouse fare when she landed a role opposite Nick Nolte in Affliction (1997). That same year she continued this disturbing trend; she scored the lead role in the short-lived reprise of the hit series Lassie. But Susan can't escape her exploitation roots. Let's hope they're always showing.
