Showtime has a good name to live up to, and in Street Time it fulfills its title and more by showing everything. This isn't another TV cop drama à la NYPD Blue, as nude-worthy as that show is. Being given the freedom of cable's loose restrictions, Street Time follows the trials and tribulations of a couple of federal parole officers and their parolees. It's another peek behind the blue wall of silence, and what viewers see is seriously blue stuff. A typical episode will feature some hottie like guest star Dawn Furie firing off her pistol topless into some dumb schmuck in a bulletproof vest. That disturbing mix of sex and violence will leave audiences spending some sticky ammunition of their own.
