Review
Stateside (2004) is another war-is-hell movie. Well, actually, it’s a boot-camp-is-hell movie. The main character gets a boot licking from his tough sergeant Val Kilmer, but it’s when he’s off base that things get outstanding. That’s because he meets a crazy rock chick played by Rachael Leigh Cook, who’s been diagnosed as schizophrenic. If she’s got a split personality, it’s the one in panties who lets soldier boy run his hands over enema lines that will put audiences into a straightjacket. Maybe this wild woman will let you show her your nuts.
