Silver Bullets (2011)

Writer, director, producer, editor, and actor Joe Swanberg is at it again with the indie flick Silver Bullets (2011). This time around, the mumblecore maker tackles the horror genre. Yet instead of chilling our bones, his leading lady gives us a boner — and we’re not complaining about that! Throughout the course of the psychological thriller, Kate Lyn Sheil thrills as Claire, an actress cast in a low-budget werewolf movie. When the director of the chiller diller starts to crush on Kate, her filmmaker boyfriend Ethan (Swanberg) falls into a pit of self-doubt and jealousy. To exact revenge, Ethan casts Kate’s best friend Charlie (Amy Seimetz) to play his girlfriend in his new movie. As the feuding couple’s relationship continues to fizzle, Claire gets lost in a fantasy world that begins to mimic her onscreen life. As such, Kate will have you howling at the moon when she performs a lengthy topless dance while wearing a werewolf mask. You may feel additional wood when the skintastic starlet flashes her rack as she changes her clothes in the woods. The movie also includes Jane Adams, Larry Fessenden, Ti West, and Kate’s three Bs! During a steamy shower scene, she reveals her bare breasts, bush and butt! Granted, her body parts are blurry but it’s arousing enough to make you reach for a towel. Although a critic from the New York Times said this pic “neither pleases the eye nor stimulates the mind,” the scenes featuring Ms. Sheil’s nudity will instead stimulate your head!
