Shirley: Visions of Reality (2013)

The experimental drama Shirley: Visions of Reality (2013) attempts to bring American painter Edward Hopper’s stark and emotional paintings alive. Following the titular character (Stephanie Cumming), we are treated to a breathtaking tour through Hopper’s various works. Just in case you were wondering, Hopper did complete a handful of nude paintings, so not only do we get to see Shirley fully clothed, riding a train, mimicking the 1965 canvas “Chair Car”, we also get to see all of Stephanie Cumming’s three B’s, thanks to the amazing reproduction of the 1961 canvas “Woman in the Sun”. Ms. Cumming is a masterpiece of ass!
