Secret de banlieue (2002)

A sensitive young girl is deeply affected by her parents' divorce in the French-Canadian thriller Secret de banlieue (Suburban Bliss) (2002). Moody pre-teen Catherine (Roxanne Gaudette-Loiseau)'s world has been shattered by her parents' divorce. Disillusioned with the adults in her life, Catherine takes up smoking, drinking, experimenting with boys, and playing a dangerous game that involves walking across the highway with your eyes closed, dragging her best friend and next-door neighbor Ariadne (Joannie Lemay) along for the ride. But their parents are playing some dangerous games of their own, our favorite of which is Véronique Clusiau's fully nude sprint across a posh suburban house.
