Coincidentally, this babe who was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario had big dreams of being on Broadway after getting her acting start performing with Neptune Theater as a teen. She dabbled in screen work as well, making her television debut in a 2016 episode of Motives & Murders: Cracking the Case, but she made her way to New York and into the cast of the hit msuical The Book of Mormon. Then Covid hit and Broadway started struggling, so Samantha made a full transition to film and TV. In 2022 she not only did a Ted Talk titled “What Is True Freedom?” she also became a series regular on the OWN drama series The King of Napa and appeared in the horror feature Orphan: First Kill. Her other screen credits include The Changeling (2023), Murdoch Mysteries (2021-2024), and The Big Cigar (2024), but it wasn’t until she played the love interest in the Amazon Original series Cross that Samantha’s naked sweater pups made their way in front of the camera. Now we’re praying it won’t be long before we cross paths with her pair again!
