Based on scandalous true events, the Japanese erotic thriller O Ryakudatsuai (1991) chronicles one woman’s destructive obsession with a man she can’t claim. With a title that translates roughly as A Plunderer, Shun’ichi Kajima's thriller tells of Taeoko (Hitomi Kuroki), a beautiful seductress who’s accustomed to getting whatever she wants. When a handsome acquaintance resists her overtures and marries Taeoko’s best friend instead, her obsession grows to the point of violence. Kuroki’s so hot that you start to wonder why she doesn’t cast her net a little wider--it’s hard to imagine many dudes passing up her curvy frame, particularly after watching her show it off in the tub.
