Rossy de Palma is the chosen name of Rosa Elena García Echave, who was actually born in Palma de Mallorca in Spain (Get it now? She’s Rosa from Palma, aka Rossy de Palma). The dark-haired chica with striking features was discovered by famous Spanish film guy Pedro Almodóvar while the two were at the same café in Madrid, and he’s put her in several of his films, including Law of Desire (1987), Woman on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (1988) Tie Me Up!
