Rollerball (2002)

Sure, the Rollerball (2002) remake doesn’t seem as fresh as the original 1970s movie starring James Caan. But then the advent of reality TV has made the initial pic’s dystopian premise of a violent sport (which features players killed live on camera to boost ratings) not so far fetched. Nevertheless, this version is an improvement in that it adds skin to the mix! Based on William Harrison’s short story “Roller Ball Murder” (1973), the updated adaptation centers around professional motorcyclists Jonathan Cross (Chris Klein) and Marcus Ridley (LL Cool J). The two believe their lives are in danger by game promoter Alexi Petrovich (Jean Reno) and his overzealous assistant Sanjay (Naveen Andrews). Although the two face occupational hazards, their positions do offer some perks — namely, sharing a locker room with topless teammates. Yes, the action film features shots of the bare breasts on Katya Dobolakova (Kata Dobó) as well as the collective T&A on a couple of Red Team players (Alice Poon and Yolanda Hughes-Heying). The movie also includes Dutch boxer Lucia Ryjker and American singer Pink as themselves. Breast of all, Rebecca Romijn appears sans the Stamos and sans her top! As the Black Widow, the blonde beauty bares her chest during a workout room sex scene that’s sure to give your wrist a workout too! Despite the fact that this movie was a miss with critics and tickets, the box office flop will make you pop. In other words, the comely cast of Rollerball will get your balls rolling!
