According to chaos theory, the smallest change in the initial conditions of a dynamical system can produce big changes further down the line. This idea, sometimes referred to as the butterfly effect, is well demonstrated by the brief, albeit significant, nudity of Rhineland rack-tress Regine Doreen in the East German drama Solo Sunny (1979). As she gets out of bed with her mustachioed man, Regine’s rack is briefly visible in a flash of flesh made still more visible by the patented process of Skin-Vision. There’s no way to prove that this brief boob baring set the stage for the destruction of the Berlin Wall a little more than a decade later, but there’s no way to prove it didn’t either. Ms. Doreen, tear off that top!
