Plucking the Daisy (1956)

Plucking the Daisies (1956), or En effeuillant la marguerite, for the Frenchies out there, is a comedy starring Brigette Bardot. ‘Nuff said, right? Wrong! There is never enough said about Brigette, or frankly any woman lucky enough to have that first name. We want reams and reams of copy and even more pictures on this bombshell. The story here is that the title of the movie is a book Brigette writes exposing her father’s friends for the horn dogs they are. Can you really blame them, though? It’s Brigette Bardot! And since this is a Brigette Bardot movie, there’s lots of nudity, even considering the era, but that skin comes mostly from unknowns in a stripping contest. Brigette has a good see-through outfit on, though, so it’s not a total loss.
