There wasn’t a better time or place for Phyllis Logan to make her big-screen debut than Another Time, Another Place (1983)--mainly because it allowed this stunning Scot beauty to scoot out of her clothes. As a horny farmer’s wife in the 1940s, Logan spends the film fantasizing about baring her boobs, bush, and butt to the Italians over at the local POW camp. We guess that would make it a Pow! camp. Phyllis also drops her top to wash some grass stains off her breasts before getting a whitewash from one lucky prisoner on work detail. Talk about a tunnel king! It was a stunning start to a career, and one that landed her the BAFTA for "Most Promising Newcomer" in 1984. But while as an actress she might have, as a nude performer she didn't live up to the promise, having remained fully clothed throughout the rest of her career. Yes, she didn't let us see her naked not one another time, in not one another place. That's not to say she didn't find success doing other stuff on the big screen. Phyllis was a voice on the intercom in 1984 (1984), and the wife of Ian Fleming in Goldeneye (1989) and Ernest Hemingway in The Legendary Life of Ernest Hemingway (1989). But Phyllis is likely best known for her work in British television. She was Lady Jane Felsham in Lovejoy, Rose Brown on Heartbeat, Maggie Smart in The Good Karma Hospital and most famously as the head of all female servants at the manor, Mrs. Hughes on Downton Abbey, a role she reprised on the big screen in Downton Abbey 2 (2021). Offscreen, one of British cinema’s favorite MILFs is married to actor Kevin McNally, who you might know as the Jashamee Gibbs in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Sure, she only gave us one nude scene, but Phyllis Logan still fills us with dirty thoughts!
