Permission moisson (2001)

Set to the backdrop of the war in Algeria, Permission moisson (2001) stars Serge Martina as Darius Pittas, a hardworking farmer, proud of his Greek heritage but indebted to France for saving him from a life of poverty. When Darius’ son Jacques (Nicolas Wanczycki) is conscripted in the Algerian army, father couldn’t be more proud of his son. Jean (Loïc Corbery), Darius’ other kid, has become an anti-establishment hippie while studying in Paris. Since Jean is too busy in the big city reading books and banging chicks, Jacques is granted leave from his military service to help with the family’s harvest. The opposing political views of the Pittas clan soon leads to some real trouble. Permission moisson doesn’t harvest much skin.
