Hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, exotic bilingual beauty Olivia Cheng started taking acting lessons at the age of nine. While in school she got into gymnastics and competed at a high level for several years. After high school, she studied acting and journalism in college and worked for a short time as a correspondent for ET Canada. As fun as doing flips off the vault and talking about celebs was, acting was her first love. At 19 she booked her first commercial with movie and TV roles not far behind. She made her movie debut in the Jackie Chan flick Shanghai Noon (2000) then got her big break when she landed one of the leads in a series called The Staff Room. The Canadian cutie went on to appear in shows like Supernatural, Psych, Arrow, and The Flash, as well as the films The Art of War II: Betrayal (2008) and Assault on Wall Street (2013). As her career continued, her parts improved as she started landing some pretty high-profile roles including that of Mei Lin in the Netflix series Marco Polo as well as the CBS mini-series of Stephen King’s The Stand.
