We have previously looked at originals vs remakes in terms of which movie has the better nudity. But what about American remakes of foreign films? One can assume that foreign films will have more nudity, but that isn't always the case! Let's take a look at the nude scenes

Unfaithful

Unfaithful was the Adrian Lyne movie that brought us Diane Lane's ladylike figure. This American remake of a French production is about a married woman having an affair with a much younger man. Diane's domes are gorgeous in this 2002 film that would be Adrian's last for twenty years until he made last year's Deep Water.

Claude Chabrol directed the 1969 original The Unfaithful Wife about a husband who hires a detective to track his unfaithful wife's whereabouts. While there was no explicit nudity, the gorgeous Stephane Andrane shows us whereabout her lingerie fits on her beautiful body.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

Based on books by the same name, the 2011 American remake was made only two years after the original Swedish version starring Noomi Rapace. Noomi is delicious, but what else is new? She has several skintastic nude scenes - many of which are more alluring than the scenes in this film in which she plays a vigilante punk helping a detective with some cold cases that all connect.

David Fincher took on the remake which starred Rooney Mara with A LOT more nudity. Rooney's rack is terrific over and over again, giving Rapace's rack a run for its money!

Insomnia

The 2002 remake of Insomnia only has the briefest dead body nudity, but the 1997 Scandinavian original does! Marianne O. Ulrichsen and Maria Mathiesen both show off their hot bodies in this thrilling crime drama where a sleep-deprived detective tries to go after a killer. Maria's mams are absolutely killer! These boobs will keep you up at night.

Breathless

The original Godard film was incredibly influential despite not having any nudity. Jean Seberg's American-girl-in-Paris pixie cut inspired whimsical women for decades to come. The original, however, is often forgotten despite having much more nudity. The remake swaps the roles with an American guy (Richard Gere) and a French woman played by Valerie Kaprisky. The original inspired generations of filmmakers to come while the remake inspired audiences to cum.

A Bigger Splash

Now here are two super hot movies for you! La Piscine - aka The Swimming Pool - was a sexy hit when it came out in France in 1969. The Jacques Deray original was a wild romp as a family goes on vacation and gets tempted by others who join them, showing us bikini babe Jane Birkin as well as the topless starlet Romy Schneider.

The remake by Luca Guadagnino is just as sexy - if not sexier. Here is a great example of sex really working for the plot and nudity being totally necessary. A couple's holiday is interrupted by an old friend and his daughter who join them. Love lives get tangled up as everyone gets horny for each other. It doesn't help that Tilda Swinton flaunts her nude body in broad daylight!
