Review
A famous incident in Dutch history gets the big-budget 3D treatment in Nova Zembla (2011). Based on the historical diaries of real-life sailor Gerrit de Veer (Robert de Hoog), Nova Zembla tells the story of Dutch explorers Willem Barentsz (Derek de Lint) and Jacob van Heemskerk (Victor Reinier), who get stranded on the Russian island of Nova Zembla while searching for a northeast passage to Asia. You can bet it's mighty chilly on the frozen Siberian steppes, but at least our hero has slappy memories of Doutzen Kroues and her heaving cleavage to keep himself warm.
