In Monsoon (1999), Richard Tyson takes his fiancée Jenny McShane off to India to visit an old friend and soon discovers that mysterious Helen Brodie is stirring up a typhoon in his trousers. That’s bad news for McShane, who’s hoping that the exotic locale will get Tyson ready to tie the knot. Instead, the only things getting tied into knots are Tyson’s crazy fantasies--and maybe his genitals--while he begins to recall a previous life balling Brodie. Too bad that the couple’s earlier coupling ended in tragedy. Helen’s drug-dealing hubby doesn’t seem likely to give this reincarnation much of a happy ending, either. At least this torrid thriller--a.k.a. Tales of the Kama Sutra 2--provides plenty of nubile nudity from Jenny and Helen, no matter how many times you’ve lived this plot in previous trips to the video store.
