Without Cuba, Mr. Skin couldn’t put his lips to a mojito, a Cuba libre, a true daiquiri or a piña colada. Of course, the country’s most mouthwatering form of intoxication is Habana-born babe Mariela Garriga! With her Italian heritage (and parents), the youthful brunette moved to Italy. Even though she wanted to become an archeologist, the brainy beauty made us rock hard with her decision to be a model instead. As with many good lookers, Mariela parlayed her camera-ready assets into acting. After training at the Michael Rodgers Acting Studio in Milan and the Actors Studio in New York City, the gorgeous ingénue made her screen debut as a French burlesque dancer in the foreign film Matrimonio a Parigi (2011). Ooh la la! She then was cast as Anna in the Italian miniseries Horror Vacui (2013). But the only thing scary about the supernatural saga was the fact that Mariela didn’t expose her super naturals! Titillating turns in The Young Montalbano (2015) and Nightmare Cinema (2018) followed. By 2019, the pretty performer picked up a Best Actress win from the Queen Palm International Film Festival for her part in the 10-minute flick Sombra City. But the closest Ms. Garriga came to winning any Anatomy Award recognition was for her revealing role in Bloodline (2018). As an expectant mother, she displays a prosthetic va-jay-jay while her character gives birth. Mama mia! Off screen, the skinternational starlet said, “Passion is like gasoline, you won’t run without it.” No wonder, Mariela’s got our engines going!
