Born in Cuba back in 1955, Sophia lived through the rise of Fidel Castro and escaped the island state after Castro started having oppressive policies against anyone who didn't abide by his strict moral philosophies around sexuality. So Sophia packed up her things and bounced to the best place a transgendered person could go at the time, New York City in the good ol' US of A. Once Sophia hit The Big Apple, the city would never be the same, as she became a staple of the nightlife scene for LGBTQ+ fans for decades now! She's been featured in magazines like Vogue, Paper, and The Face. She's also been an MC at some of the biggest and brightest venues around the world, calling herself "a professional human being", which is another understatement, as she's more like the PINNACLE of human beings to anyone and everyone who has ever laid eyes on this voluptuous vixen and seen her perform! In 1996, the live performances which she became famous for, helped jump off a film career that has now spanned over two decades with memorable roles in Anonymous (2004), Candy Apple (2015), and Adam Green's Aladdin (2016). Sophia is showing no signs of slowing down either as she's broken out those boobies on the 2020 series out of Spain, Veneno, where she plays one of the stars of the trans revue opposite the famed La Veneno, who kicked down doors and became a trans icon in old Spain in the 80s!
