Making Fun with Akilah and Milana (2020)

Making Fun with Akilah and Milana is a sketch comedy series that debuted on Comedy Central in the summer of 2020, that dreaded summer we all spent indoors constantly craving new content. Akilah Hughes and Milana Vayntrub are the titular duo who make fun on the show, with all of that fun involving topics to which we can all relate be they interpersonal or social media based. Basically, these two funny ladies have fun while making fun and it's fun for all the fun seekers out there in the world. What more do you need to know? It's a sketch comedy show, you know the drill. They play lots of characters and have lots of funny observations about humanity, life, love, and everything in between. It helps that Akilah and Milana are friends in real life, outside of the show, because it gives their relationship a dynamic that's missing from so much other sketch comedy where they just sort of throw a bunch of people together and expect them to make magic. That's not how this works, okay? That just makes everyone sad, confused, and constantly on guard to be funny. These ladies take a relaxing approach to making it work and we're loving every minute of it! Since this is a Comedy Central series, we aren't expecting much in the way of nudity, but a sketch in the debut episode found Milana Vayntrub smashing things against her breasts—they stay covered up—as well as having her left breast pop out of her top, though it's pixellated! Still sexy, though.
