When the cat’s away the mice play in Los Maistros (1988), a bawdy upstairs-downstairs comedy from Mexican director Rafael Villaseñor Kuri. Kuri’s film chronicles the scandalous misdeeds that occur when a wealthy patron and his stuffy wife leave their villa in the hands of the livery. The maids of the estate waste no time inviting a group of sweaty bricklayers inside, where the proceedings quickly take a turn for the sexy. Yirah Aparicio and Rebeca Silva shimmy out of their uniforms for a slam-bang time before the master and wife come home to ruin the party.
