Like the ameliorating effect of a spoonful of sugar upon medicine, a rapid-fire barrage of corn-ball jokes accompanied by overly hale and hearty fake guffaws -- plus banjo-pickin’, fiddle-strummin’, down-home music -- sure does go down better if a gaggle of stacked and giggling country gals is on hand. When they squeeze their cleavage into gingham blouses and bust their buns out of faded denim, men go as wild as the Wild Wild West! How else would Hee Haw (1970) have run so long, if not for the pleasing eye-candy presence of heaping-hootered honeys built in the image of Lisa Todd? Lisa Todd’s lovely bod provided the show with its "Sunshine" character from 1970 through 1986. Boys who hadn’t even been born when Lisa started her Hee Haw shtick were finding her to be a biological necessity by the time she quit. Born in Santa Barbara, California, the 5'7" beauty has had a long and varied career, appearing in fare such as The Beverly Hillbillies (1968), The Wild Wild West (1969), The Red Skeleton Hour (1971), Kung Fu (1975), The Ghost Busters (1975), and Sixth and Main (1977). Here at Mr. Skin, our favorite Lisa credit is her role as Lilith in The Devil's Rain (1975), in which she dons a red, see-through top that reveals her roundies in all their gargantuan glory. Lisa slipped off of Hollywood's radar after her 2003 appearance as "Blonde at Pool" in Hollywood's Talk of Fame, but we hope that Lisa will whip out her hee haws again!
