Lisa Kay first became interested in performing when she started taking ballet lessons at the age of four. During her teen years, she attended the Royal Ballet School on a full scholarship and was well on her way to a career in ballet. After suffering a career ending knee injury, she turned her focus to acting, taking courses at the legendary Bristol Old Vic Theater School. After three years of hard work, Lisa began appearing in plays then made her TV debut in 1998 and hasn’t looked back since. The English beauty became well-known in the UK when she played the part of Carol in the popular TV series Heartbeat. While she does occasionally appear in movies, most of Lisa’s work is on TV guest starring in a variety of TV shows like Home & Away and Casualty. She has also been the lead in the series Indian Summers and has appeared in the long-running, very popular show Neighbours as a recurring character.
