Lia Williams of Birkenhead can work a man’s head whenever she flashes her flesh. Fortunately, the esteemed actress (and director) isn’t shy about doffing her duds on camera. After blossoming per her acclaimed performances in the theater (The Revengers’ Comedies, David Mamet’s Oleanna, David Hare’s Skylight), the English Rose proceeded to peddle her pretty petals on the big and small screens. Lia made her nude debut in the TV movie Shot Through the Heart (1988) wherein she bares her breasts, bush and butt! By 1993, the alluring ingénue revealed her mams and muff in the Danny Boyle-directed drama Mr. Wroe’s Virgins and thrilled fans with the Michael Winner thriller Dirty Weekend. Alas, the latter wasn’t as dirty as we hoped. Luckily, Lia donned a see-through top in the miniseries Imogen’s Face (1993) to keep fans entranced. The busy babe also won the praise of critics for her turns in The Russian Bride (2001) and May 33rd (2004). Yet she’s best known across the globe for her portrayal of Wallis Simpson in the Netflix saga The Crown (2016). Next came the crime drama Kiri (2018). As a foster mum, the slim stunner can be seen taking a shower, until her teenage son breaks in and removes her towel to expose her chest. Oh, mama! Whether on stage (The Homecoming, As You Like It, The Night of the Iguana), on film (Bad Blood, Firelight, The Foreigner) or on TV (Seaforth, The Uninvited, Doc Martin, Death in Paradise), Ms. Williams proves she’s somebody to see!
