Based on a French pulp fiction series, Le Poulpe (1998) follows the exploits of The Octopus, a hard-boiled private detective with a band of cohorts who help him in his career through the streets of Paris. This one involves Clotilde Courau, the Octopus’s bisexual girlfriend.
