Le danger d'aimer (1998)

The director of a winter-sports resort finds his happy life ripped away from him by a debilitating accident in the French TV movie Le danger d'aimer (1998). Serge Hazanavicius stars as Antoine, an affluent businessman who’s left crippled by the freak malfunction of one of his cable cars. As a result, he can no longer get it up for his insatiable young lover, Hélène (Marianne Basler). Knowing that he can’t keep her, Antoine agrees to a platonic relationship with the young beauty, but the stress on his ruined body causes the crippled man to snap. Basler reveals her tantalizing form in a steamy encounter with her former lover. Co-star Marianne Anska also proves more than the impotent man can bear in a ravishing reveal that he can only peep at.
