Blonde-haired and looking beach ready, Lara Cox grew up in Australia wanting to be a schoolteacher. But the universe—and genetics—had other plans, and the 5’7” hottie blonde babe entered the world of modeling instead. And, of course, modeling led to acting. In 1997, at the age of 19, she landed the leading role of Anita Scheppers on the uber-popular Aussie series Heartbreak High, based on the lives of students at Hartley High School in Sydney (like a Beverly Hills, 90210 for Down Under). She appeared in 102 episodes from 1997-1999, and a star was born. Lovely Lara nabbed the role of Bianca Zeboat on Home and Away in 1999, then switched to the role of Maria Cashman in 2007, and the role of Quinn Jackson in 2017. She also took small turns in Above the Law in 2000 and BeastMaster in 2001 before starring as Posy in Head Start in 2001, as Finn in The Lost World in 2002, Dr. Denman in H2O: Just Add Water in 2006, The Jesters in 2009, as Stella in Drop Dead Weird in 2017, and Rebecca Woodruff in Time & Place Webseries in 2019, picked up as a regular series in 2021. Lara has only done a few movies, but there is one Mr. Skin is particularly fond of: The Marine 2(2009), where the delicious dish played the role of Robin Linwood to co-star Ted DiBiase Jr.’s Joe Linwood. Wearing a ruffled string bikini, the hot-bodied honey proved she definitely wasn’t in high school anymore. Her curves were highlighted on the shore and in the ocean, her wet swimwear clinging everywhere as Robin and Joe made out in the surf á la From Here To Eternity. Always ready for the beach, that one. Surf’s up!
