Laia, who is neither a princess nor a senator of any extraterrestrial federation, started her Earthly acting career out in 1996 in the Spanish film Razones sentimentales. Since then, she has appeared in a number of semi-successful Spanish flicks ranging from Asunto interno to Mensaka to Café Ole, although superstardom has somehow eluded her. Nevertheless, Laia etched a permanent place in my mind with her role in 1999’s Lisboa, mostly because she freed her waterbags and showed her arse off in one memorable scene. ¡Caliente!
