Review
The Philippines’s answer to Cinema Paradiso (1989), Lagarista (2000) is the story of Gregory (Piolo Pascual), a film-reel courier in love with the movies. He carries reels between the two humble theatres in his town by bike, but his job is endangered when megaplex movie theatres threaten to take over the little cinema houses in Quiapo. Janna Victoria flashes her boobs and thong-clad booty in the role of Ana, a hooker with a heart of gold.
