La manzana de oro (2023)

The first film in seventeen years by acclaimed Spanish director Jaime Chávarri, this comedy based on Ávidas pretensiones by Fernando Aramburu tells the story of three generations of poets who come together every year for Poetry Days, an event at an isolated convent where they compete for the top prize of the weekend, “The Golden Apple” (hence, the title). Maria Nieto plays one of the competing writers who seems to work better when she’s in the buff. We also get a steamy sex scene with her and Rodrigo Soares featuring her beautiful, round mounds.
