Knocked Up (2007)

Knocked Up (2006) is a knockout of a rom-com! The R-rated romp is hilarious, moving and, thanks to topless turns by Stormy Daniels, Nautica Thorn and Emerson Riley, it’s hot hot hot! Seth Rogen stars as Ben Stone, a pot-puffing goofball whose grand ambition is to launch a website dedicated to chronicling every nude movie scene ever shot. Hmmm, that sounds familiar. Obviously, it’s a skintastic idea! But Ben’s best laid plans go awry when he actually gets laid, courtesy of curvaceous Katherine Heigl. She plays Alison Scott, an upright E! television reporter who has one cocktail too many, which leads to one Ben in her bed too many and one positive pregnancy test too many. When Alison decides to have the baby, she and Ben work together to try and overcome their lifestyle differences as they comically cope with the unexpected events that emerge during the next nine months. Lithe beauty Leslie Mann and amusing dude Paul Rudd make perfect comic foils in their roles of Alison’s sister Debbie and brother-in-law Pete, respectively. They’re so appealing, the characters head up their own spinoff sequel This Is 40 (2012). Meanwhile, Ben’s wannabe internet entrepreneur pals (including Jonah Hill and Jason Segel) add to the onscreen fun. Written and directed by comic auteur Judd (The 40-Year-Old Virgin) Apatow, Knocked Up is the ultimate modern sex farce, supplying brains to go with the boobs and heart to back up the hijinks. And we’re not just saying this because the movie repeatedly references Mr. Skin!
