In Mr. Skin's copious experience he has learned that women are not all the same. Some women give their all in pursuit of their dreams, and others sparingly parcel out the rare glimpse here and there along the road to where they want to go. Accomplished actress Kim Greist is of the latter variety. Despite possessing all the womanly attributes accorded to a female who can make a very good living on her looks alone, Kim has opted mostly to shield her vital parts from view. Even as far back as her B-flick exploitation initiation in C.H.U.D. (1984), she retained a sweatshirt and panties in the role of a flustered chick, the one who commonly runs around menaced and topless. Having ascended to a recurring role on network goldmine Chicago Hope, Kim is probably happy to have done things her way. The only glimpse of Greist goods is some tasty T&A in Brazil (1985). A lot more people would be happy if she had done things our way. When 1986 rolled around, Kim decided she would tease us once again in Michael Mann's overlooked masterpiece Manhunter (1986). In the scene, she and her police officer husband make passionate love on their beach-front house. Mr. Skin is not usually one for romance, but even he was impressed with the love making on display. Unfortunately there were no B's to be found though. Kim must have forgotten her skin-ful roots in subsequent years because we never saw her bare any flesh again. What a shame!
