Keeping Up with the Steins (2006)

A macho Hollywood agent is upstaged by his ex-business partner, so he uses the occurrence of his thirteen-year-old son’s bar mitzvah to show the world that he’s dad of the year. Keeping Up with the Steins (2006) stars Jeremy Piven as the hyper-competitive alpha-dad whose blood gets to boiling when he watches his prick archrival (Larry Miller) throw a half-million-dollar party for his own boy’s coming-of-age. Refusing to be outgunned, Adam Fiedler (Piven) plans a baseball bash of epic proportions, only to watch it all blow up in his face. Fiedler could have probably saved some serious time and energy by buying his kid some face time with the radiant Daryl Hannah. One look at the former fifty-foot woman should remind male viewers of their own loss of innocence.
