Aside from guest spots on Cheers, Night Court, Mr. Belvedere and Perfect Strangers, Jude Mussetter’s career never really took off, but we can't figure out why. Few eighties actresses had a better figure. She got her big break playing “Bootsy” in the opening scenes of Volunteers (1985) opposite the then comedic Tom Hanks. Bootsy wakes up from knocking boots with Forrest Gump himself, and realizing she's going to be late for class hops off the mattress naked, though she does try to hide her chest pillows behind some sleeping pillows. This was the flick that introduced Tom to his longtime wife Rita Wilson, but we would have picked the must see Mussetter, ourselves. It looked like the role might set Mussetter on a path to acting glory, especially in 1987 when she appeared briefly in the box-office sleeper based on a Bret Easton Ellis novel, that has since become a bit infamous for starring Robert Downey Jr. as an out of control drug addict, Less Than Zero. But after only finding one off sitcom success, by 1991 Jude was taking any role she could get. She made her final appearance in Hired to Kill, a low-budget nudie flick about sexy commando women posing as models to infiltrate an island fortress, that while featuring plenty of lovely ladies going commando, regrettably featured none of young Jude’s assets. What a shame. We consider Volunteers a must set the DVR film, only because it's the one where our girl Mussetter gave us a little peek. We can't get enough of Jude, nude.
