Where would we be today if not for the people who figured out the mid-80s were a time for heart-feels, hijinks, and hooters? And if not for those people who made movies displaying such feelings, fun, and female forms? Living doll Katherine Kriss took her blonde good looks and willingness to show her naked form and made a small but memorable movie career in the ‘80s in three of those skinematic sensations. In American Flyers (1985), the lean-framed hottie made her debut as Vera, playing against a young Kevin Costner in the early stages of his career, and a pre-Dirty Dancing Jennifer Grey. It had all the feels and all the tears, but no tear-drop breasts. Luckily, that little snafu was corrected in Hot Chili (1985), where Katherine appeared as Allison. Emerging topless from a pool, she says she’s just a little cold, and we can tell. In another scene, she’s totally in the buff, lying on a guy, and we see her awesome ass and some good side boob as she’s caressed to the beats of some rockin’ ‘80s music. For her final film, she didn’t even get a proper character name, only going by “Elaine’s Friend” in Student Confidential (1986). Elaine was played by Elizabeth Singer, and this was her only role, so Katherine was the actual veteran on this flick. The movie included such characters as “hoodlum” and “prostitute,” so the friend gig wasn’t actually so bad. Mr. Skin would gladly be Katherine’s friend. And swimming partner, too.
