Biography

Josephine Chaplin was a mere babe of three when she made her first uncredited appearance in Limelight (1952), a late comedy by her father, famous silent-era funnyman Charlie Chaplin. She went on later to appear as Young Girl in A Countess for Hong Kong (1967) and in Scandal Man (1972). As promising as that latter title may be, it wasn’t until Jesus Franco directed her in Jack the Ripper (1976) that she finally got nude, with Lina Romay and Esther Studer. That, sadly, marks the end of her skinful career, which went on with the boob-tube series Symphonie and the mini-series Hemingway (1988) before ending without ever again showing off her little tramps.
