Josephine Byrnes Nude

Josephine Byrnes is a red-headed Aussie transplant who sticks to her adopted country. Luckily for anyone living above the land down under, other countries choose to shoot there, so you might actually recognize Josephine from a film or two—like, oh, say, The Matrix Reloaded (2003), where she played a Zion virtual control operator. Or Oscar and Lucinda (1997), with Ralph Fiennes and Cate Blanchett, with Joey playing Miriam Chadwick. (Note: Mr. Skin doesn’t know if anybody really calls her Joey, but if they don’t, he’s decided he’ll be the first.) The cutie was originally born in Connecticut, but by the time she made her screen debut in The Flying Doctors Australian TV series, she was no longer living in the US. Then came her role as Dr. Kate Munro in the TV movie Shadows of the Heart (1990), where her T&A is peeped on by a gawking geezer—only that’s not Joey’s booty, nor is it the side of her breast, as the actress used a body double. But like Mr. Skin always says, a boob is a boob, no matter who it belongs to, so we’ll take this bit of nudity and appreciate it for what it is. The actress continued her leading-role status by playing Sister Catherine in the mini-series Brides of Christ (1992), but it was nun too revealing (Hah! See what Mr. Skin did there? Nun instead of none? He’ll accept that high-five you’re offering.) Other Australian ventures she’s known for include Snowy River: The McGregor Saga as Jessie McClusky in 1996, Inspector Julia Goodwin in Water Rats in 2001, and Margaret Green in Ponderosa from 2001-2002. That last one may sound American, and it is—but it was filmed in Australia.
