She was born in Vicenzia, Italy, on April 12, 1988, but Jessie James is a country girl through and through. Jessie won her first singing contest at the age of 9, and as a teenager she made weekly trips to Nashville to perform for record label execs and other honky-tonk tastemakers. Jessie was rejected by almost every country label in Nashville, but eventually was recruited by indie label Yellow Dog Records, who helped her develop her singing and songwriting abilities. Jessie soon made the leap to the big leagues by signing a contract with Mercury Records, but was disappointed when her first album, Jessie James (2009), failed to incorporate the country influences she grew up with. Still, the album produced a Top 40 hit ("Wanted"), and for her second album, Sweet American Dreams (2010), Mercury allowed Jessie a bit more artistic freedom. She was dropped from Universal's country roster in 2013, but lately she's been more preoccupied with her marriage to Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker and their E! reality show, Eric & Jessie: Game On (2013-). Speaking of, Jessie may have been the bride, but you'll be the one who's blushing when you see her modeling her white bridal lingerie in episode 6 of the show. Jessie James has some real sharp hooters!
