Review

The comedy-series Jack & Jill would only be worth watching if only to spend thirty minutes looking at its adorable leading lady Amanda Peet. The fact that it’s actually a pretty good show doesn’t hurt, either! Here’s the basic storyline: When she finds out that her husband-to-be is a cheating lout, free-spirited Jacqueline "Jack" Barrett (Peet) leaves him and moves in with her former high-school friend Audrey (Jaime Pressly) in New York. Soon Jack meets her handsome new upstairs neighbor, David "Jill" Jillefsky (Ivan Sergei), who (unfortunately) already has a long-time girlfriend named Elisa (Sarah Paulson). Now that he knows Jack, however, ‘Jill’ questions his two-year relationship with Elisa… Yes, the storyline is anything but inventive. Yes, it’s not exactly realistic. And yes, it’s often rather predictable. Still, the excellent chemistry between Peet and Sergei is obvious and helps Jack & Jill overcome many of its flaws. Overall this series is a charming experience you can’t help but appreciate! Nudity Report: Jaime Pressly and especially Amanda Peet sure are two extraordinarily beautiful babes, but they sadly keep their clothes on in this one (which is not that big of a surprise). The good news is that both of them already provided us with valuable amounts of on-screen nakedness. While Pressly showed off almost everything in the second Poison Ivy sequel, Peet spent several minutes of The Whole Nine Yards wearing nothing more than a pair of panties.
