Love makes people do funny things. And according to the affection-crossed principals of Inner Sanctum (1991), it also makes them indulge in pathetic and bizarre life-threatening behavior. It seems silly, but there really are women who, upon suspecting that their husband no longer loves them, will opt for the suicide attempt rather than ring up the divorce attorney. It stands to reason that a person given to such irrational and unwise decisions will also prove inept at killing herself, achieving only wheelchair confinement under the care of the suspect husband, who indeed would rather plant his seed in an alternate receptacle. The wife's day-to-day life expectancy becomes dicey when her groom hires a nurse with a reputation for losing patients. One bit of advice to the rolling invalid: Don't let them park you on any steep hills.
