In the Name of the Father (1993) is a 1993 film based on the autobiography of Gerry Conlon originally called "Proved Innocent". This Irish story takes place in the U.K. where a Belfast man played by Daniel Day-Lewis is forced to confess to an I.R.A. bombing that he did not commit and had no involvement in. He admits to them that he was in London at the time of the 1974 bombing that killed several people at Guildford Pub. From there, he is coerced into confession along with other innocent people who all get punished for this. He gets thrown in prison along with his very innocent father and other members of their extended family. They became known as The Maguire Seven as an English lawyer works to save both Irishmen from unfair imprisonment for a crime that neither of them did. Eventually, the real bombers come forward, but not without a lot of trouble. In the Name of the Father focuses on that very real drama, but we're here for the babes. Well, there's one babe worth watching. Sexy Saffron Burrows, whom we love in other projects, is briefly in this movie wearing a hippie dress and playing around on a campus green with other people her age. She wears a long hippie dress when she runs into Daniel and the two tumble over each other on the grass. Her legs go straight up in the air and her skirt hikes up to show her undies. We see London, we see France, we see Saffron's underpants. Guilty!
