Hey, what goes better together than racecar driving and bodyguard training? In the world of High Performance, absolutely nothing…which explains why the show lasted maybe seven episodes. Through logic decipherable only in the minds of TV producers, who must have figured we’d love a series in which a lady bodyguard was saddled with a high-speed courier once a week. We didn’t. Still, that Lisa Hartman is easy on the eyes, and few other TV actors can over emote with the mania employed by Jack Scalia.
