Hard Romanticker (2011)

You think you're hard? You're not as hard as Gu (Shota Matsuda), the cocky hero of Hard Romanticker (2011). A Clockwork Orange meets Ichi the Killer in this ultra-violent Japanese action flick, based on writer/director Gu Su-Yeon's experiences growing up as a delinquent "zainichi", or son of Korean immigrants, in Japan. When he is wrongly accused of murdering a rival gangster's grandma, Gu becomes the target of the bloodthirsty revenge tactics of his rivals as well as a police manhunt.
