With a name like Haans Siver we thought perhaps we were gay. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. The actress, as we soon discovered she is in fact a she, has a name that sounds masculine to our eyes. In fact, it’s not, and she’s anything but, as she proves in the straight-to-video sci-fi horror flick Deadly Species (2002). The plot concerns a big-game hunter looking for the fountain of youth, but discovering instead a flesh-eating beast. No, not Haans.
