Güeros (2014)

Güeros is a Spanish term referring to light-skinned or light-haired people, though it can pretty tough to decide where the line is. The story starts with a mom and her son, who is out of control, in Mexico City. She sends him to live with his older brother, who is protesting another protest run by many of his university peers.  The older brother's roommate and crush join them as they aim the city and beyond almost aimlessly, armed with nothing but short-term goals to direct them. When they listen to a record by folk rocker Epigmenio Cruz and realize he's dying in a hospital alone, they set out to find him. There's not a whole lot of plot here—part of the commentary here is, after all, about the roaming we all do during our youth—but we do get a great glimpse of Ilse Salas when she takes off her shirt and bra to unveil her mariachis while she's changing!
