Inspired by the cover of the January 1990 edition of British Vogue and directed by future award-winner David Fincher, the video for “Freedom ’90” is famous for not having singer George Michael present at all. Weary of being in front the camera, George declined to appear int he video and the song was instead lip sync-ed by a bevy of the world renowned supermodels, including a nip-slipping Naomi Campbell. Naomi dons a completely see-through top with her arms crossed over her beautiful boobage but her left nipple clearly makes a cameo - or should we say mam-eo - appearance. Perhaps “Freedom ’90” should be renamed “Free The Nipple?”
